burnt toast.

Whew, what a long day of enjoying the outdoors!

Today Andrew and I spent the day with Miles and Mallory. We began with a picnic at the lake followed by a bicycle ride to the Flying M for a coffee and game time, we played this game called Gubs and once you get the hang of it, it’s super fun and nerdy. After the M we rode back to Andrew’s home where the girls and boys split up. Mallory and I to do some shopping for an hour and the boys to go swim and hangout doing boy things. We met back up and brought the kiddos home to rest up for about 45minutes before Miles’ baseball game and dropping off Mallory at her sleepover.

Dropped Mallory off, headed to Miles baseball game which he did pretty awesome at. He looks so handsome and cute in his little baseball uniform. I look at him and am amazed at how fast he is growing up, it is definitely a bittersweet thing having the twins grow up, but this coming from myself who often times thinks myself still 16 but I’m getting married in a few short months. Where has the time gone?

Ah well, back to the day…

after the game we came home, had dinner and then went outside to hangout and play basketball. This was mostly Andrew and I. I quite like playing basketball with him, except when he takes advantage of my height(or lack thereof) and cheats by doing trick moves(which I’m only bothered by because the moves are cool and I can’t do them)…finished with cake and sitting in rocking chairs talking to Miles.

All in all it was a great summer day where not a moment was wasted…we all got a bit too much sun and enjoyed the day together. I love my siblings. I love Andrew. I can never get too many days like today.

Have a sweet, peaceful night lovelies,

Chenin
